Epic Games Korea (CEO Park Seong-cheol) announced on the 10th that ‘Man Eater’, the fourth game to be released as part of the ‘Epic Mega Sale’, will be provided free of charge until June 16.
The Epic Mega Sale, which provides massive game discounts, starts on the 20th of last month and continues until June 16, during which time free classic games are being offered to Epic Games Store users every week. ‘Borderlands 3’, ‘BioShock: The Collection’, and ‘Wolfenstein: The New Order’ have been released as free masterpiece games every week for the past three weeks.
‘Man Eater’, which was released as the fourth and last free game of this year’s Epic Mega Sale, is an open world action-adventure game featuring a man-eating shark. It begins as a small shark, survives in a cruel world, and travels to the top of the ecosystem’s food chain. You can enjoy a colorful open world by fighting wild animals as well as various types of humans to evolve and collect rare items.
‘Man Eater’ progresses like a documentary, with narration flowing as the main character grows during the play process. The shark’s inner voice and the ecological explanation of the surroundings conveyed through the narration are full of black comedy and self-deprecating humor, which is expected to provide special fun to gamers.
Park Seong-cheol, CEO of Epic Games Korea, said, “As the finale of this year’s ‘Epic Mega Sale’ free masterpiece game series, we are pleased to present ‘Man Eater’, a special open world action-adventure game where you can play as a predator shark of the sea.” We would like to thank you for your support for the Epic Mega Sale over the past three weeks, and hope you can fully enjoy the benefits of the remaining week of the sale, including the free masterpiece ‘Man Eater’.”
Meanwhile, the Epic Games Store will participate in the global game show ‘Summer Game Fest 2022’, which will be held in the United States for five days starting on the 9th (local time), and will release major titles to be released in the second half of the year.
