The Adventures of a Furry Shepherd Dog, ‘Hubert’ Releases on Steam on October 12

Czech indie game developer Brocap Studio has announced the release date for ‘Hubert’, an adventure game featuring a furry sheepdog as the protagonist.

‘Hubert’ will be released on PC (Steam) on October 12. A PlayStation 5 version is also scheduled to be released, and the specific release date will be announced in the coming weeks.

The game is an adventure game depicting the adventures of Hubert, a curious and confident sheepdog. Players explore the world from Hubert’s perspective and have a unique experience perceiving their surroundings through movement, smell, and instinct.

Hubert takes on the job of tending the sheep on a farm with the clever girl Lily. However, managing the unruly sheep is not easy, and another adventure awaits Hubert and Lily in the unknown northern wilderness leading beyond the farm.

The game combines the everyday experience of tending sheep and exploring the surroundings with the mysteries hidden in the northern wilderness. The developers described it as a work featuring the stories of friendship, courage, and a dog barking at sheep.

Brocap Studio announced the release date following their participation in Gamescom. The Czech-based studio has a team of members with over 15 years of game development experience and a history of participating in the development of various games, including ‘Mafia: The Old Country’, ‘Last Train Home’, and ‘Crime Boss: Rockay City’.

‘Hubert’ is currently set for release on Steam, and the release schedule for the PS5 version will be announced later.
