- Meet the Present and Future of Indie Games… Exhibition, Experience, and Networking Event Runs Until the 26th
- Free trial exhibition and global exchange seminar held simultaneously… Shedding light on the indie game creation ecosystem
The Gyeonggi Content Agency (President Tak Yong-seok, hereinafter KCA) announced that it will hold a special exhibition where visitors can directly experience PlayXpo Award winners and excellent indie games recommended by Indie Game Group Korea (hereinafter IGGK) from June 15 to 26 at ‘POPUP7@Pangyo’ on the 7th floor of the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center in Pangyo.

Held under the title ‘PAN:PLAY Games Finally Take the Stage,’ this exhibition was organized to introduce high-quality indie games to the public and to provide a platform for users to play and enjoy the games firsthand.
In particular, the exhibition was made richer through the collaboration of ‘PlayX4,’ the largest game festival in the metropolitan area co-organized by Gyeonggi Content Agency and KINTEX, and ‘IGGK,’ a non-profit indie game developer community sponsored by Google Play.
At the exhibition venue, you can find a total of about 10 games, including well-made games that won at PlayXpo’s Indie Awards and masterpieces recommended by IGGK.
A variety of games across different genres are available, ranging from puzzles and adventures to simulators, shooting games, and rhythm games, and a review event for visitors will also be held.
In addition, on the 18th during the exhibition period, the ‘Global Indie Game Exchange X Meet up Day’ will be held as a related event.
Co-hosted by the Gyeonggi Global Game Center, Gyeonggi Content Korea Lab, and IGGK, and sponsored by Google Korea, this event will invite domestic and international speakers to share trends in the global game industry and facilitate networking among indie game developers.
This indie game exhibition is open on weekdays from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM (closed on weekends and public holidays), and admission and experience are free for everyone. Further details regarding the exhibition and events can be found on the Gyeonggi Content Korea Lab website (www.gconlab.or.kr).
