The Korea Game Industry Association (Chairman Kang Shin-cheol, hereafter referred to as K-GAMES) released the ‘Global Policy Environment Survey Results Report’ on the 5th.
This report is the result of investigating policies related to overseas game services through cooperation between the association and member companies over the past two years, and was produced to help game operators enter the global market.

The survey items were written in collaboration with domestic companies that are currently conducting or preparing global services. In addition, the report was based on guidelines applicable to practice, such as self-regulation, along with laws and regulations of the relevant country, and, if necessary, provided additional explanations with examples to help business operators understand.
The association said that the report was self-reported for the purpose of public interest and had no legal effect, and the timing of the investigation and the current legal system may be different depending on amendments to laws, etc.
