    SBA Releases Two Selected ‘Indie Game Fast Track’

    Seoul Industry Promotion Agency announced on the 11th that ‘Action Cat’ and ‘Hellblade’, selected for the ‘2021 Indie Game Fast Track’ development support project, were officially released.

    ‘Indie Game Fast Track’ is a representative game support project of the Seoul Industry Promotion Agency, which discovers game contents with excellent game characteristics through expert diagnosis and creates success stories through customized support.

    The Fun’s ‘Action Cat’, which was selected for the indie game fast-track development support project in the second half of 2021, finished its official release on March 21st, thanks to various phased follow-up support, and Magic Stone’s ‘Hellblade’ is scheduled for release in April. ahead

    ‘Action Cat’ is the new work of The Fun, which developed ‘Legend Dino’ in the past and has been featured in 172 countries in both Google and Apple markets. The game is a 2D platformer rogue-like shooting genre in which Cartoon Network-style animal agents defeat invading monsters with characteristic guns and various skills.

    Kwak Seung-jae, CEO of The Fun, said, “From the beginning of development, the new ‘Action Cat’ was able to be released stably with various support such as development funds and creator promotion through the Seoul Industry Promotion Agency’s fast track support project for indie games.” “High quality We will do our best to provide pleasure to users through the game and the game.”

    Magic Stone’s ‘Hellblade’, which is about to be released in April, is an action mobile RPG game featuring high-quality dot graphics.

    In the game, dot graphics reminiscent of the 2D action game ‘Metal Slug’ attract attention, and delicate elements can be found in the interaction through terrain, monsters, and NPC dialogue and movement. In addition, by introducing an intuitive method of touching both sides of the screen without separate operation, the inconvenience of operation of existing mobile action games has been eliminated.

    Hyeon-jik Lee, development team leader of Magic Stone, said, “I have learned various know-how in the game industry for 15 years, and I was fortunate enough to meet a team of great talents to launch ‘Hellblade’. We will work hard so that users can enjoy fresh and unconventional fun.”

    Jeon Dae-hyeon, head of content division at the Seoul Industry Promotion Agency, said, “We will spare no effort to resolve the polarization in the game industry that has been entrenched through the game content development support project and to ensure that original games are continuously released.”

    Meanwhile, the Seoul Industry Promotion Agency announced that in the case of the ‘game content production support’ project in 2022, it will be announced through its website in April.
