Five months after moving its headquarters to Suncheon in South Jeolla Province and becoming the city’s first game company, Lunosoft is launching its next title.
Lunosoft has released Soul Legion: Idle Soul RPG (영혼군단 키우기), a mobile action RPG developed by Korean studio NGU Studio, on major Korean app markets as of October 19.
Soul Legion is an idle action RPG in which a single tap unleashes flashy area skills that sweep away incoming hordes. It features more than 100 souls to collect, ranging from Common to Mythic grade, and some 3,000 main stages.
Up to 12 hours of offline auto-farming lets players keep progressing quickly, even on their busiest days.
A Soul Girl’s Ultra-Fast Adventure in Another World
The story follows an ordinary girl reincarnated into another world as the commander of a legion of souls. Alongside a mysterious soul girl, players build the strongest possible legion. The game aims for fast-paced action-adventure that anyone can enjoy without complex controls.
Combat lets players trigger spectacular area skills with a single tap to wipe out endless waves of enemies in one sweep. The developer says it focused on maximizing the satisfying impact and crowd-clearing thrill characteristic of hack-and-slash games.
100+ Souls and an Endless Growth Loop
Collection and strategy are well covered. Players can summon and collect more than 100 souls, from Common to Mythic. Decks can be built strategically around matchups and elements for each type of content, and every 50 enhancement levels on a soul unlocks a unique special effect for a major power boost.
The game is also built with busy players in mind. Offline auto-farming rewards accumulate for up to 12 hours, so players can progress without actively playing. Customization spans weapons, gear, relics, traits, runes, and skills, and content volume is substantial: 3,000 main stages across 30 chapters plus more than 50 special currency dungeons.
Live Operations: Rotating Minigames and Ongoing Events
Live operations aim to set Soul Legion apart from other idle games. Casual minigames such as card flipping, roulette, and a board-style marble game rotate weekly for variety, and a weekly Rush event offers generous rewards for regular play.
Lunosoft: A Veteran Publisher Expanding Its Lineup
Lunosoft, which handles service and publishing, was founded in 2006 and has a track record of successful casual games built on well-known IP, including Disney Spot the Difference, Friends Jam, Bread Barbershop, and Love is…. Its games have surpassed 50 million combined global downloads.
Since relocating to Suncheon in May, the company has been building ties with the regional game industry. As the city’s first game company, it is expanding its publishing business beyond development to include QA and live operations, and is currently developing a number of casual games based on famous IP as well as story games adapted from webtoons.
Soul Legion is available now on major Korean app markets, with game details and event news on its official Naver Lounge.
Who This Is For
Strong fit for: idle RPG fans who want a hack-and-slash feel with one-tap area skills; collectors who enjoy building decks around grades and elements; busy players who value 12-hour offline farming; anyone who wants a long content runway with 3,000 stages.
Cautious fit for: players outside Korea, since the launch is on Korean app markets only; iOS users, as no App Store release is listed.
Less ideal for: players seeking skill-based action or deep manual control; this is built for low-effort, high-speed growth.
The Takeaway
Soul Legion is a polished entry in Korea’s crowded idle RPG market, pairing one-tap hack-and-slash spectacle with 100+ collectible souls, 3,000 stages, 12-hour offline farming, and rotating live-ops minigames. The larger story may be Lunosoft itself: a 20-year casual-game veteran now publishing from Suncheon, and an early test of whether a regional base can support a growing publishing business outside the Seoul metro area.
Available now on Google Play, ONE store, and Galaxy Store in Korea.
