- Developed by Ulsan-based 3-person studio Ogri Games, targeting a Korean release in Fall 2026
- Combining Tarot card collecting and strategic battles with an LLM-based AI character dialogue system
OgreeGames, a game developer based in Ulsan, South Korea, will participate in the Tokyo Game Show 2026 with its new mobile female-oriented story RPG , ‘Lucid Tarot’ .
The playable demo of ‘Lucid Tarot’ is being unveiled for the first time through this exhibition. The game is characterized by combining strategic battles involving collecting and nurturing tarot cards with an LLM-based AI character dialogue system.
‘Lucid Tarot’ plans to launch in Korea in the fall of 2026, followed by expanding its service to global markets including Japan.
An occult romance unfolding between dreams and reality
‘Lucid Tarot’ tells the story of a 20-year-old protagonist who dreams of a normal college life but gets caught up in a mysterious incident with three men she meets by chance.
It features indestructible supernatural tarot cards, people consumed by desire, and nightmares that lure the player into their dreams, with a structure that intertwines an occult mystery tracking the truth of events with a romance involving three men.
There are three main male characters. They are Yoon Jae-ha, the ‘first love’ who hides his true self behind a sweet facade; Han Seo-on, the ‘mood maker’ who harbors a secret behind his bright and cheerful personality; and Baek Ryu, an exorcist of few words but possessing consistent charm.
The core of the gameplay revolves around collecting and leveling up Tarot cards, as well as strategic deck building. You can collect a variety of cards, ranging from basic Tarot cards to season-limited art cards created by invited artists, and build your own unique deck by combining the different attributes and abilities of each card.
Combat is divided into normal battles that follow the main story and training battles where you can intensively develop cards. Players will strengthen and grow their cards by assembling a deck and repeating battles.
An AI-based character dialogue system is added to this. Moving away from the method of selecting predetermined options, it is characterized by characters remembering past conversations and responding according to the current situation and context.
Through this, the developer plans to provide not only tarot card collecting and strategic battles, but also an experience that feels like building a real relationship by engaging in continuous conversations with the characters.

Eye-catching dreamy occult romance worldview
‘Lucid Tarot’ is set in a world where the boundary between dreams and reality blurs. It is characterized by a blend of occult mystery and romance, featuring a mysterious and dreamlike atmosphere alongside a lyrical romance.
In particular, the unique symbolism and mysterious imagery of Tarot cards will be emphasized through season-limited art cards created by invited artists.
Ogri Games, a new studio specializing in female-oriented games
Ogri Games’ ‘Lucid Tarot’ is the first title presented by a fledgling studio established just over a year ago, combining two elements: tarot card collection, strategic battles, and AI character conversation.
The developer plans to accelerate its expansion into overseas markets, including Japan, using its participation in the Tokyo Game Show as an opportunity. In particular, it is actively seeking local publishing partners and views the Japanese market as a key region for expansion due to the high interest in story content within the female-oriented, mystery, and occult genres.
Ogri Games expects that ‘Lucid Tarot’s’ dreamlike worldview and AI-based character dialogue system will provide a new female-oriented gaming experience to Japanese users as well.
At the stage leading up to the first public unveiling with the TGS exhibition.
The exhibition of ‘Lucid Taro’ at Tokyo Game Show 2026 is effectively the first opportunity to showcase the game to general users and the media.
The game can be found at the Tokyo Game Show Indie Game Corner booth 09-E85. A playable demo featuring Tarot card battles and AI character conversations will be unveiled on-site.
In addition, separate from the in-game paid gacha or probability-based items, an offline prize event called the ‘Lucid Tarot Lucky Draw’ will be held, which can be participated in for free.
As media coverage is also scheduled to take place at the booth, the reactions from the first users and media revealed through this on-site demonstration are expected to serve as a crucial turning point in securing future global publishing partners.
