Dutch indie game developer and distributor SOEDESCO® announced on the 5th that it will release the PC version of the truck driving simulation game ‘Truck Driver: The American Dream’ on Steam together with developer Kyodai.
To celebrate the Steam release, a free, playable demo has also been released. The game features PC-optimized upgrades and a variety of new features, delivering an enhanced truck driving experience compared to the console versions.

“Truck Driver: The American Dream” centers on the journey of a son who inherited his father’s dream. After the death of his father, a once-famous and respected truck driver, Nathan decides to follow in his father’s footsteps and start a new life.
The endless stretch of road symbolizes freedom, but behind it lie the real challenges of long nights driving, grueling delivery jobs, and facing loneliness. Players will experience firsthand Nathan’s journey as he builds bonds with his family and community through deliveries, and with the profits he earns, he purchases new trucks and parts to gradually expand his business.

The game is developed based on Unreal Engine 5.5.4 and provides a high level of immersion through ray tracing effects, a dynamic weather system, and natural day-night transitions.
Gamers can realistically experience the everyday life of a real long-haul truck driver as they traverse the American continent, navigating diverse terrain and distinctive locations. Unpredictable road conditions and unpredictable weather conditions go beyond simple driving, offering the challenge and excitement of true truck driving.
