    Smilegate Membership, Indie Game Division 14th Graduation Ceremony Successfully Concluded.

    Smilegate Future Lab announced on the 13th (Friday) that it successfully completed the 14th graduation ceremony for the Smilegate Membership (hereinafter ‘SGM’) indie game division.

    At this graduation ceremony held at the lobby of Smilegate Campus on January 12, Smilegate executives and staff members had a meaningful time demonstrating the games of 10 teams that participated in the 14th SGM Indie Game Division and giving and receiving feedback.

    The 14th SGM Indie Game Division was active for about 7 months, from July of last year to January of this year. During the SGM activity, development space and creation funds were supported. He also participated in various networking activities, such as mentoring senior creators through the SGM community.

    In particular, last September, a workshop was held to observe the Busan Indie Connect Festival as a group and share insights on game creation. In addition, by participating in SGM, such as meeting about 170 users on the ‘Open Beta Day’ (online), where the game under development is released and receiving feedback, it has received diversified support to complete the game while concentrating on creative activities.

    Suh Gyeong-deok, team leader of Team Flask, who participated in the 14th SGM indie game division, said, “Thanks to the various support programs that allowed me to focus on indie game creation, it was more than motivational.” could grow If you are an indie game developer, I recommend you to participate in SGM.”

    Oh Sook-hyun, head of Future Lab, said, “SGM’s indie game division is concentrating on creating an environment where developers can focus on their creative activities. We will continue to support the growth of indie game creators with various creative support programs; We will try to make it healthy,” he said.
