Epic Games, ‘Epic Developer Community’ Korean language support

    By Editorial Team2022년 12월 16일Updated:2023년 06월 24일2 Mins Read

The ‘Epic Developer Community,’ a new global community site for Unreal Engine and digital creation, is now available in Korean.

Epic Games Korea (CEO Park Seong-Cheol), the Korean corporation of Epic Games, which provides Unreal Engine, store, and digital creation ecosystem, provides UI and learning courses for Unreal Engine’s new global community site, ‘Epic Developer Community (EDC).’ It was announced on the 16th that it would start Korean language support etc.

EDC is a global community site that was released simultaneously with the release of Unreal Engine 5 in April. It was created based on Epic Games’ vision of building an open digital creation ecosystem that provides everything creators need.

Developers and creators interested in Unreal Engine and real-time 3D content creation can easily find various resources and content in one place, create content containing their own knowledge and know-how within site, and share it with the community.

EDC largely comprises learning, forum, and snippet sections and provides a Koreanized UI.

The ‘Learning’ section provides various libraries, such as various lectures, tutorials, and tech talks. Up to now, a total of 100 Korean contents are available. In the ‘Forum’ section, you can search for knowledge-based materials or ask and answer questions with global community members to give and receive help in creating your work. In the ‘Snippet’ section, you can save your settings or share them with the global community to help other creators create their work.

Meanwhile, in addition to Unreal Engine, EDC aims to provide integrated information necessary for creators’ digital creation by adding resources for various products that make up Epic Games’ ecosystem, such as Capturing Reality.

Park Seong-Cheol, CEO of Epic Games Korea, said, “We are delighted to support the Epic Developer Community site, which many creators have been waiting for, in Korean. I hope to get much inspiration for the work being developed through active exchanges with other creators, such as sharing Nippet.”

For more information on EDC, visit the Epic Games Community.
