The experimental game festival Out Of Index (OOI) started crowdfunding for the event in 2022.
OOI is an experimental game event designed to infuse a new inspiration and spirit of experimentation into the game industry, which tends to focus solely on popularity and profitability.
The event is co-hosted by the Korean game studios ‘Single Core Games,’ ‘G-Pink’, and ‘Turtle Cream.’ OOI, first held in 2014, has established itself as the only event where you can meet ‘special games’ that have been difficult to find in Korea over the years.
OOI 2022 will be held at ‘All That Mind’ located in Mullae-dong on December 3rd. In the offline festival, you can directly play the works and invitations selected through a work contest, and you will also have a chance to meet and hear the stories of the developers of the game. Selected works from OOI 2021, held only online due to COVID-19, can also be played at this year’s festival site.
Participants in the crowdfunding held at Tumblbuck will be provided with festival tickets, masks, and various goods depending on the amount of sponsorship as sponsorship gifts.
