Smilegate, Recruitment of Developer Development Program ‘Winter Dev Camp’

    By Editorial Team2022년 09월 21일Updated:2022년 10월 27일2 Mins Read

Smilegate announced on the 21st (Wednesday) that it will hold the ‘2022 Winter Dev Camp (Winter://Dev.Camp).

The 2022 Winter Dev Camp is a growth support program for those who want to grow as developers. It was first introduced in 2019 and will be held for the second time this year.

In particular, this year is noteworthy in that the scale and target of the Winter Dev Camp has been expanded to mark the 20th anniversary of its foundation. With the transition from the existing offline method to an online event for the first time this year, the target area has been expanded to include non-metropolitan bases. By expanding the employment/external activity programs focused on the metropolitan area to regions, more future developers were prepared to participate.

Recruitment for the 2022 Winter Dev Camp will be conducted sequentially by region, such as Gyeongbuk (9.21~10.05), Gyeongnam (9.27~10.11), Jeolla/Jeju (9.30~10.14), and Gangwon/Chungcheong (10.05~10.19). Any young person residing in the target area can apply. The duration of the activity is about 3 months from the end of November to the end of February 2023, and the number of recruits is 120.

If you are selected for the 2022 Winter Dev Camp, you will be able to receive overall mentoring, including feedback on development code from working developers. You can also participate in large-scale development projects to gain hands-on experience. A small activity fee will also be paid.

An official from Smilegate’s Talent Recruitment Team said, “The 2022 Winter Dev Camp will be a great opportunity to develop practical skills and develop development capabilities. The camp’s various programs will serve as a basis for growth,” he said.
