The ‘2022 Future Content Creation Contest’, hosted by the Future Contents Foundation, hosted by the Korea Game Media Association, and sponsored by the Game Management Committee, begins on the 19th.
The ‘Future Contents Creation Contest’ is a follow-up contest to ‘Gemchun Literary Art’, which was conducted by the ‘Game in Foundation’, the predecessor of the Future Contents Foundation.
This year’s theme is ‘Future, Content, and Us’, and the format of the entry is an image. Specifically, in 10 years from now, what kind of change will there be in the ‘type’ of the content we enjoy, or the ‘way’ of how we enjoy content, various image formats such as drawings, posters, cartoons, and pop art. In this regard, the Future Contents Foundation said, “This year’s theme is in the field of content that is continuously developing, and we have chosen this year to think about the changes in the future content industry and the changes in our daily lives.”
He continued, “Through this competition, we changed the name from the Game-in Foundation to the Future Contents Foundation and, despite the change of the foundation, which was limited to only the game field, and expanded the scope to all content fields to try various projects, there were many changes. I hope you will be interested.”
Meanwhile, this contest is open from today (19th) to August 19th, and anyone, young or old, can participate. Participation is also simple. All you need to do is submit your creations along with the application form by email (fcf.contest@gmail.com).
Afterwards, the final winners will be selected after a screening by the Korea Game Media Association reporters, and the awards ceremony will be held at the end of August. A scholarship of 5 million won will be awarded to one grand prize winner, 1.5 million won each to two first prize winners, and 500,000 won each to four first prize winners. After that, an offline exhibition will be held at the ‘Busan Indie Connect Festival’ held in Busan in September for the 7 winners.
