It is known that Epic Games Publishing has signed a publishing contract with two indie game studios.
Epic is an emerging studio ‘Eyes Out’ founded by Cory Davis, director of the console game ‘Specs of the Line’ and Robin Finck, guitarist of the industrial band ‘Nine Inch Nails’. As a publisher, Epic will bear 100% of all development costs, on condition that both indie studios receive at least 50% of the total revenue once the game is released and sales reach break-even. Epic does not exercise any influence over the game so that its partners can devote themselves to development, and the developer retains the intellectual property rights of its work.
