The Gyeonggi Venture Startup Support Center is a base that provides office space to promising venture companies and supports customized programs. Five locations in northern Gyeonggi (Goyang, Guri, Namyangju, Uijeongbu 1, Uijeongbu 2) and 6 locations in the south (Bucheon, Seongnam, Anseong) , Anyang, Uiwang, Pangyo) in total, 11 locations are in operation.
In spite of the difficult situation due to the prolonged Corona 19, last year, 147 companies in the Gyeonggi Venture Startup Support Center achieved total sales of 127 billion won, employed 857 people, 85 cases of venture/standard certifications, and 170 cases of intellectual property rights.
First of all, the provincial government will recruit resident companies in the first quarter of 2022 by February 28th. There are a total of 7 venture centers in Goyang, Namyangju, Uijeongbu 1, Uijeongbu 2, Seongnam, Anyang, and Anseong, including Goyang, Namyangju, and 29 companies are planned to be recruited. Any technology-based start-up company that has been in business for more than 3 years and less than 7 years can apply.
In particular, in order to lead the digital innovation economy this year, companies applying for innovation and new industries (BIG3, DNA, carbon neutrality, etc.) will be given preference in the screening process.
Selected companies can use office space at a low rental rate compared to the surrounding market price, and can use facilities such as conference rooms, training centers, and collaboration spaces for free.
In addition, you can receive support for marketing (production of promotional materials, SNS promotion, participation in domestic and foreign exhibitions), commercialization (production of prototypes, various certifications, application and registration of intellectual property rights), management (digital special lectures, company meetings, specialized education), and networking. Among them, we plan to provide intensive support within the limit of 10 million won per company for commercialization and 5 million won per company for marketing.
In addition, if you only pay the material cost, design at the prototype workshops in 9 regions including 8 venture centers (Goyang, Namyangju, Bucheon, Anyang, Uiwang, Pangyo, Anseong, Hanam (planned)) and Station-G (Ansan) start-up space・You can use the entire process from design and consulting to prototype production in one stop.
The prototype workshop is equipped with various equipment for prototype production, such as 3D printers (advanced type, industrial), laser cutters, 3D scanners, and various tools, as well as a ‘photo studio’ where you can take photos of the finished prototype.
