Indie game platform ‘Stove Indie’ announced on the 25th that it had signed an official distribution contract with 505 Games for ‘Baek Heroes’ Rising’ and ‘Baek’s Heroes’, which are being developed by ‘Rabbit and Bear Studios’ and ‘Natsume Atari’.
‘Baek Heroes’ is a new game being developed by Rabbit and Bear Studios, which was established by the production team of ‘Guardian of Fantasy’ and ‘Castlecania’, and is scheduled to be officially released in 2023. ‘Baek Heroes’, which stands for the strategic RPG genre, emphasizes fun elements with the user’s taste and strategic combination, such as choosing from 100 heroes to create a combination that suits their taste or finding an effective combination in a specific section.
‘Battle of Heroes Rising’ is a prequel to War of Heroes, developed by Atari Natsume and directed by Rabbit and Bear Studios. In this game, you can meet the background story of the Battle of Baek Heroes and some characters, and some of the core systems of the main game, such as village development and hero development, are also applied. In addition, several characters from Rising in the Battle of Baek Heroes can appear as companions in the main story and are expected to add to the fun of the game.
Based on this contract, Stove plans to strengthen the Korean version of the Battle of Baek Young-woong. In addition, the Battle of Baek Heroes Rising will be released in the first half of this year, and various events will be held before the official release to provide game-related information to users in various fields.
Smilegate Stove CEO Han Young-woon said, “The Battle of Baek Young-woong is a work that raised the expectations of domestic and foreign users through global game shows such as E3 and Tokyo Game Show last year. We will do our best to provide good service through events and thorough preparation.”
