Chungnam Information Culture Industry Promotion Agency announced that it would implement the ‘2022 Game Production Challenge’ project to secure local game contents and establish a foothold for entering the global market through short-term game contents production and renewal support.

The ‘2022 Game Production Challenge’ project will run for a total of six months from May to the end of October, and any company that resides in the Chungnam Global Game Center or a new occupant can apply. In addition, companies that are maintaining business registration among the winning teams of the 2021 Startup Contest are included.

Supported fields are VR, AR, cloud, PC package, PC online, console, mobile platform, etc., regardless of genre, except for game content, except for some platforms.

Support consists of support for renewal production and commercialization of game content that has been discontinued, and support for updating and advanced production of existing games. Chungnam Global Game Center resident companies and companies wishing to move in select a total of around 9 projects and pay up to 40 million won per project. will be paid

In addition, after an interim evaluation for selected companies, a secondary subsidy will be paid according to the results of the project. The second subsidy is expected to be around 10 million won per project to the top 1-3 companies.

Applications for the ‘2022 Game Production Challenge’ will be accepted until Tuesday, May 3, and can be submitted through the e-Nara Help system online application.
