The new rogue-lite game ‘Forgotten Dreams of the Future’, developed by domestic indie game developers Nomari and Sesame and distributed by Psychoflux Entertainment, has been officially released through the global game distribution platform Steam.

‘Forgotten Dreams of the Future’ is a boss rush action roguelite game set in a dream world, and features simple and intuitive controls and fast-paced battles that anyone can enjoy.

Gamers become Mirae, the protagonist trapped in a nightmare, navigating the ever-changing dreamscape toward the exit. The intuitive, rush-and-run attack mechanics, coupled with a boss-focused structure, allow for short but intense battles.

The game features approximately 200 skills, passive abilities, and pets, along with over 40 usable items. Through diverse combinations and growth elements, players can enjoy unique strategies and synergies with each playthrough. Each stage features a new art style, and random bosses also maintain the game’s tension.

Encounters with dream inhabitants are also a must. Even the same characters react differently depending on the situation, adding an element of unpredictability to the gameplay.

Developer ‘Nomari’ said, “This game is the dream of the protagonist ‘Mirae’, and it was also my long-time dream,” and explained the production intention, saying, “I wanted to create a roguelike that anyone can enjoy without burden.”

Forgotten Dreams of the Future is currently available on Steam, offering a new option for gamers seeking a short but intense roguelike experience. More information can be found on the Forgotten Dreams of the Future Steam store page .
