Neowiz (Co-CEO Seung-cheol Kim, Tae-geun Bae) announced on the 13th that it will release the 2D action game ‘Skul’ developed by South Four Games (CEO Park Sang-woo) on the global online game platform ‘Epic Games Store’.
‘Skull’ is a side-scrolling action game in the rogue-lite genre where you can feel the fun of strategically solving a single opportunity. It features a unique system that transforms into a new character by replacing the head of the main character’s skull.
In particular, it surpassed the cumulative sales of 1 million copies for the first time in a Korean package indie game in January, and has been recognized for its game performance and workmanship by users around the world, such as being selected as the best work in the Steam ‘Early Access Graduation Division’ in 2021.
‘Skull’ sold through the Epic Games store provides all the same content as the Steam version, and supports a total of 11 languages including Korean, English, Japanese, and Spanish. The launch price is 20,500 won, and to commemorate the entry into the Epic Games store, a 25% discount event will be held until the 18th.
