‘Never Wither’ is characterized by collecting fantastical creatures and possessing them to use their abilities. Players become a ‘Gardener’ with the power of purification, exploring an open world with friends, gathering creature companions, building a base, and fighting against enemies.
The setting for this demo is the first region, ‘Verdant Valley’. It features 19 types of creatures and 4 bosses, offering approximately 3 to 5 hours of content. Unlike the previous test, P2P multiplayer and PvP combat are also being introduced for the first time.
The official version is scheduled to include additional content, such as dedicated servers and territory battles. The developer plans to introduce more features through future updates.
In the game, biological companions are utilized not only in combat but also for base management. You can train companions by combining their abilities, and assign them tasks such as gathering resources, farming, and construction and crafting. Some creatures can even transform into unique buildings.
Players can embark on a journey alone or invite friends to enjoy survival and construction together. On official servers, players can form clans to participate in territory battles, while on private servers, they can set their own rules.
‘Never Wither’ is scheduled to be released on PC Steam, but the official release date has not yet been announced.
