- Inspired by actual US trailer races… K-Indie Team Flotrick Developed
- A 5-minute push-and-hold battle on a railingless trailer… Release date and price TBD
Korean indie game studio Plotrick announced that it has unveiled the first reveal video of its new online party game ‘Get Off My Trailer!’, currently under development, and has opened a Steam store page.
‘Get Off My Trailer!’ is an online multiplayer physics-based brawl party game where you must survive until the end using a vehicle on top of a moving trailer.
The released video features thrilling yet entertaining scenes of players violently colliding and bouncing off each other on a dangerous trailer without railings.
Players must steal any vehicle randomly placed on the map, climb aboard a trailer speeding at a terrifying pace, and survive as the last man standing until the round ends. True to its title, the core fun of the game lies in its ridiculous and chaotic showdown.
First come, first served; the battle for the top of the trailer
All players start the game without a vehicle. The first person to reach a car and open the door takes the driver’s seat, and there is no concept of owning a personal vehicle.
The victory condition is to freely steal a vehicle on the map, climb onto a speeding trailer, and survive until the round ends. Since the constantly moving trailer has no safety railings, there is a high risk of falling off if hit by a strong impact or shove from another player.
However, even if you fall from the trailer, you are not immediately eliminated. Players can get back up, steal another vehicle nearby, and re-enter the trailer to continue the battle.
The driver sabotaged with sudden braking and sharp turns
In each round, one person becomes the driver of a truck pulling a trailer. The driver uses sudden braking and sharp turns to shake off the players on the trailer. If no one survives within the time limit, the driver wins.
One round lasts about 5 minutes, and 4 to 8 people can play together. Designed as a casual party game to enjoy with friends, it highlights the fun of hindering each other by dividing roles between the player and the driver.
Inspired by actual trailer races
According to the developer, the game was inspired by actual trailer matches.
It is explained that this is a competition where cars ride on moving trailers to compete for position, and it has been taking place at various stadiums across the United States since the beginning of this year. A representative example cited is the ‘King of the Hill’ at Hudson Speedway in New Hampshire.
Developed by Korean indie studio Flotrick… Supports 13 languages
Flotrick is a Korean indie game studio that is directly developing and publishing ‘Get Off My Trailer!’. They have recently unveiled their Steam page and first reveal video, but the release date and price have not yet been determined.
The game supports 13 languages, including Korean and English, as well as Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, French, German, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Portuguese (Brazil), Polish, Russian, and Turkish. The developer announced plans to add more supported languages in the future.
