The Korea Artificial Intelligence Game Association supports the AI transition of domestic game companies with the ‘2026 AI Game Production Environment’
It was announced that it is recruiting participating companies for the third round of the ‘Transition (AX) Support Program’ until September 4.
This project involves domestic small and medium-sized game companies, indie game developers, and sole proprietors utilizing AI technology in the game production and service process.
This is a project that supports the usage costs of related solutions to enable their adoption. Through this, it increases the efficiency of game production.
It aims to strengthen the development capabilities and global competitiveness of domestic game companies.
In the third round of recruitment, the scope of support was expanded to include small and medium-sized game companies with 21 or more employees. The support limits by company size are 5 million won for companies with 1 to 2 employees, 10 million won for companies with 3 to 10 employees, 20 million won for companies with 11 to 20 employees, and 50 million won for companies with 21 or more employees.
Companies with 21 or more employees must submit a Certificate of Small and Medium Enterprise Status when applying. In particular, as the quotas for companies with 1 to 2 and 3 to 10 employees were met in the first and second recruitment rounds, small and medium game companies with 11 to 20 employees and 21 or more employees will be prioritized in this recruitment. After prioritizing companies of these sizes, additional small companies will be selected based on the remaining quota.
Selected companies will receive 100% support for the cost of using domestic AI programs and solutions for game production and services.
It is possible. Up to 90% of the usage cost for overseas AI solutions is supported within the company-specific support limit. Value-added tax is supported.
It is excluded from the target.
The application period is from August 21 to September 4 at 5:00 PM, and applications can be submitted via an online Google Form. Selected companies will be determined through a review of eligibility requirements and a joint lottery conducted by participating associations.
An official from the Korea Artificial Intelligence Game Association stated, “Through this third recruitment, we have expanded the scope of support to enable small and medium-sized game companies with 21 or more employees to more actively adopt AI technology,” adding, “We will continue to provide practical support so that game companies of various sizes can utilize AI to improve their production environments and enhance their competitiveness.”
