- Crossing the Wormhole, the Endless Fall Begins… New Content Revealed for High Score Competition
- Major update released to enhance replayability of 96% Steam-rated drop action
S-Bend Games, an indie developer based in Melbourne, Australia, has released a new update for its debut title , ‘Freefall ’95’ .
The highlight of this update is the addition of a new content mode called ‘Endless Fall,’ where players challenge for the highest score while falling infinitely, along with various convenience improvements to lower the entry barrier for new users.
Freefall 95 is an arcade adventure game with a unique concept where you become the sole survivor of an aerial disaster and fall endlessly from the sky.
You must survive by breaking through diverse environments, ranging from clear skies to stormy mountainous regions and erupting volcanoes, and the game features a unique story utilizing time loops and spectacular combo action.
It is receiving favorable reviews on Steam with a positive rating of over 96%, and an Accolade trailer celebrating this has also been released.
Endless fall… New ‘Endless Fall’ mode added
The biggest change in this update is the new game mode, ‘Endless Fall’.
You can activate this mode by meeting a hypnotist in the game, and if you jump into a mysterious wormhole that appears in the sky when you are close to the ground during gameplay, a new descent begins. Instead of landing, the fall continues within the same stage, and as the stages progress, the difficulty and score multiplier increase together.
Players can enjoy the fun of a score attack, aiming for higher scores while falling to their limits. The developers described this by saying, “Pure hell awaits.”
Convenience significantly improved so that even beginners can easily enjoy it.
Along with the new mode, several quality improvements were also made to the overall game.
Notably, the action zone, which determines the hit detection range for tricks, has been expanded, and the maximum rotation speed of falling objects has been lowered to ease the difficulty of controls. Grabbable objects have been added to the starting section, and the tutorial has been enhanced to allow players to naturally learn special tricks from the beginning.
In addition, various bugs were fixed, including issues where players would stick to walls, and the text and UI were improved to be more readable. The quest interface was revamped, the composition of Level 1 objectives was adjusted, and new drop objects were added that allow for the use of various tricks.

Unique falling action presented by a 3-person indie development team
Freefall 95 offers a total of 15 stages, consisting of 5 large levels, each with 3 difficulty levels. It is characterized by a high difficulty level reminiscent of a bullet hell shooter as you progress through the later stages of the game.
In addition, various challenge stages where players aim for the highest record in a short amount of time have been prepared, along with a roguelike Gauntlet mode where players can clear 3, 5, or 7 levels in succession with a single health point. Furthermore, the game stands out for enhancing the fun of replayability through support for 25 types of ability items, a trait system, and friend and global leaderboards.
Developer S-Bend Games is a three-person indie game studio established in Melbourne, Australia in 2024, and ‘Freefall 95’ is their debut title. This update is expected to be well-received for further enhancing the game’s quality by providing new challenges for existing users and a more accessible gameplay environment for new users.
