Team A_EGO’s new story adventure game ‘ATYPIAN’, which combines the sensibilities of classic JRPGs with a cyberpunk worldview, has begun preparations for its full-scale launch through crowdfunding.
ATIPIAAN is a game featuring a unique premise set in a chaotic royal capital, where the protagonist, who runs an inn, must survive while concealing their identity. Players take on the role of a protagonist who becomes a ‘half-monster’ after drinking a potion given to them by a mysterious guest one day, and must track down clues to the case while avoiding suspicion within a limited time of 10 days.
AT Pian began development as a pilot project and won the graphics award at the ‘1Chicken RPG Maker Game Jam 2025’. The development team has continued development for about a year, supplementing ideas that could not be implemented at the time, and plans to unveil an expanded version with significantly improved quality through this crowdfunding campaign.
The expansion pack adds new characters, sub-quests, recipes, and a cooking system, and is scheduled to include various updates such as convenience improvements, Steam achievements, and partial story revamps.
Team A_EGO stated, “We decided to proceed with crowdfunding to showcase our work to more users,” adding, “Players’ participation and interest will be a great help in improving the quality of the game.”
