    Space Madness and Shattered Moons: ‘2nd EVE’ Enters Early Access

    The moon is falling, your crew is losing their minds, and you’re the ship’s psychiatrist. Talk about a bad day at the office. Gamer Cloud has officially launched its sci-fi horror action RPG, 2nd EVE, into Early Access on Steam and the Epic Games Store.

    If you enjoy the claustrophobic dread of Dead Space paired with tactical 2.5D combat, this Romanian indie debut might be the nightmare you’ve been looking for.

    The Premise: A Psychiatric House Call in Deep Space

    The story kicks off with the literal collapse of the moon. Humanity’s last survivors board the colony ship ARGOS, bound for Proxima B. You play as Sister Zola, a high-ranking officer who pulls triple duty as a nun and a psychiatrist.

    • The Incident: During a hyperspace jump, reality cracks. The ship becomes a shifting, hostile labyrinth.
    • The Mission: Zola must maintain the mental health of the hibernating colonists while fending off crew members who have mutated into “nightmares” and machines that have decided humans are on the menu.
    • The Burden of Choice: You’ll have to decide who is worth saving and who is too far gone—decisions that directly impact the ship’s fate and the narrative’s ending.

    Gameplay: Tactical Horror & Build Freedom

    Unlike high-speed slashers, 2nd EVE rewards patience and positioning.

    • 2.5D Tactical Combat: Combat is deliberate. Zola uses a combination of staff-based melee and supernatural abilities. Every move has a cooldown, making skill management more important than button mashing.
    • Classless Growth: There are no rigid class systems. You can build Zola into a long-range caster, a heavy-hitting melee tank, or anything in between based on the abilities you find and upgrade.
    • Environmental Storytelling: The game leans heavily into atmosphere. You’ll piece together the tragedy of the ARGOS through scattered logs, distorted transmissions, and the eerie, minimalist soundscape.
