Gyeonggi Province announced that it will be recruiting participating companies starting on the 10th ahead of the ‘2026 PlayX4’, the largest convergence game show in the metropolitan area to be held in May.

Hosted by Gyeonggi Province and co-hosted by the Gyeonggi Content Agency and KINTEX, ‘2026 PlayX4’ will be held at KINTEX in Goyang from May 21st to 24th. It will present a more expanded gaming culture experience to visitors and game industry professionals, embodying the four values of eXciting, eXperience, eXcellent, and eXpert.

Support for entering the global market through B2B export consultations.

The B2B export consultation, the centerpiece of this event, will be held in Hall 5A of KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 for two days, May 21st and 22nd. It will offer practical business opportunities, including one-on-one business matching with domestic and international publishers and buyers, investment and collaboration consultations, and networking with industry professionals.

In particular, a closed-door intensive testing (FGT) and investment attraction (IR) consulting program will be established to actively support small and medium-sized indie game developers’ entry into the global market. Companies participating in the booth will be able to showcase their games to the general public for two days (23rd and 24th) following the weekday export consultations and gauge market response.

An experiential game show for all generations to enjoy… and even e-sports competitions

The B2C exhibition hall offers a wide range of games, including console, arcade, PC, mobile, board games, XR, and VR. Visitors can experience a wide spectrum of games, from major game companies to indie developers. Gaming gear and peripherals will also be on display, providing visitors with a comprehensive gaming culture experience.

The specially prepared e-sports festival stage will feature e-sports matches and popular competitions for various groups, including college students, people with disabilities, and families, encouraging spectator participation.

Last year’s export consultations reached $200 million, and even greater results are expected this year.

PlayXpo is recognized as a leading game industry platform that has connected domestic and international game companies, expanded market entry opportunities for small and medium-sized and indie developers, and created global cooperation results.

Last year, in particular, the event attracted approximately 115,000 visitors and 721 companies participated, conducting 1,476 business consultations and recording export consultations worth approximately USD 203 million (approximately KRW 290 billion), achieving the highest performance ever.

Companies wishing to participate in the 2026 PlayXpo B2B/B2C can apply through the official website ( www.playX4.or.kr) from the 10th until booths are sold out. Pre-registration for general visitors is scheduled to begin in April.
