South Korean indie developer Influsion Inc. (CEO Kwak No-jin) has officially unveiled the reveal trailer for its upcoming first-person survival horror title, “SENARA: The Sacrament.” With a haunting atmosphere and a return to the roots of the genre, the studio is gearing up for a major showcase at the upcoming Steam Next Fest.
A Desperate Escape from the Cult Ship Senara
Set aboard a massive, derelict 6,000-ton vessel named the Senara, the game puts players in the shoes of a recruit for a mysterious religious organization. Upon boarding, you find yourself trapped in a waking nightmare where hidden cult rituals, forbidden truths, and unspeakable horrors roam the steel corridors.
The game draws heavy inspiration from classics like Resident Evil and Silent Hill, focusing on a sense of isolation and the psychological weight of blind faith. Players must navigate the ship’s claustrophobic interior while encountering other survivors—each with their own hidden agendas—as they fight to uncover the truth behind the unholy ceremonies occurring on board.
Core Gameplay: A Return to Classic Survival Horror
SENARA: The Sacrament is designed as a “love letter” to the genre’s golden age, emphasizing tension over pure action.
- Metroidvania-Style Exploration: The 6,000-ton ship is meticulously recreated based on real-world vessel structures. Instead of a linear path, the ship serves as a massive “escape room” where players must explore, gather items, and unlock new areas.
- Resource Management: Ammo and healing supplies are extremely limited. The game forces difficult “fight-or-flee” decisions at every turn.
- Puzzles & Investigation: Truth is fragmented across documents, objects, and environmental clues. Players must piece together the narrative themselves to find the key to salvation.
- Non-linear Storytelling: Player choices and actions lead to multiple endings, offering high replay value for those brave enough to return to the Senara.
Built by Industry Veterans
Founded in 2016, Influsion Inc. is comprised of seasoned developers from major South Korean studios like NHN Games and Blueside (known for the Kingdom Under Fire series). Having previously developed the mobile Stormborne series and various VR simulations, the team is now focusing its expertise on delivering a high-fidelity PC and console horror experience.
“Our goal is to provide a horror experience that shakes players to their core through claustrophobic hallways, a gloomy maritime atmosphere, and a fragmented story,” stated CEO Kwak No-jin.

Playable Demo at Steam Next Fest (February 2026)
Horror fans won’t have to wait long to experience the dread. A playable demo featuring the game’s opening chapters is scheduled to debut during Steam Next Fest, running from February 23 to March 2, 2026.
For those who want an early taste of the lore, the prologue episode, Before the Dawn: SENARA Prologue, is currently available for free on Steam. This prequel tells the story of a different survivor and sets the stage for the events of The Sacrament.
