Seoul, South Korea – September 14, 2025 – Indie developer Longplay Studio (CEO Shin In-geon) has officially launched the first DLC for its turn-based roguelike survival title Terminus: Zombie Survivors. The new expansion, titled Last Escape, is now available on Steam as of September 12.
The DLC continues the story beyond the main game’s “Final Station,” offering over 10 hours of additional gameplay through new regions, characters, and an alternate ending. While preserving the core tension of Terminus’s turn-based combat and resource management, Last Escape deepens the experience with expanded NPC interactions, missions, and survival challenges.
New Regions and Gameplay
Players can now explore the Station Interior and Platform—areas once considered safe havens, but now revealed to be fraught with scarcity and relentless zombie threats. These new survival stages demand even more strategic resource management and adaptability.
New Survivors and Quests
The DLC introduces 16 new survivor NPCs, each with unique backstories and quests. Building trust with these characters can yield practical rewards, community support, or game-changing advantages, making relationship-building a vital part of survival.
The Train Escape Ending
At the heart of Last Escape lies the new “Train Escape” ending. Players must restore a destroyed train while defending the station against waves of zombies. Only by meeting all the survival conditions and preparing thoroughly can they attempt this climactic escape—providing a fresh and challenging conclusion distinct from the base game.
Since its official launch in August 2024, Terminus: Zombie Survivors has sold over 100,000 copies worldwide, earned a “Very Positive” (94%) rating on Steam, and won the Indie Game Award at the 2024 Korea Game Awards.
The base game is currently priced at ₩19,900, while the Last Escape DLC is available for ₩9,900. To celebrate the release, Steam is offering a 30% discount on the base game and 10% off the DLC until September 25, 2025.
