The Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency (President Lee Eui-jun) and the Korea Mobile Game Association (Chairman Hwang Sung-ik) have announced the recruitment of indie game developers for “2025 IndieCraft,” Korea’s leading indie game festival dedicated to discovering outstanding domestic games and supporting their global expansion.
Submission Period and Eligibility
Applications for participation in 2025 IndieCraft are open from March 31 to April 30, 6:00 PM (KST). Detailed information and application procedures can be found on the event’s official website and the event platform OnOffMix. For inquiries regarding participation, sponsorship, or partnership, developers can contact the IndieCraft Secretariat.
Any indie developer—individual or team—can apply. Games must either be scheduled for release or have been released within one year of the announcement date. A separate “Challenger” category is also available for university student developers.
Expanding Global Reach: Gamescom 2025 & Global IR Pitching
In 2025, IndieCraft will significantly expand its global initiatives.
- A dedicated IndieCraft promotion booth will be established at Gamescom 2025, one of the world’s largest gaming events held in Germany, with over 300,000 attendees annually, to introduce selected Korean indie titles to international gamers.
- In collaboration with global payment and game business platform Xsolla, IndieCraft will host a Global IR Pitching Event, connecting developers directly with global investors.
This online IR program will support Korean studios by refining their investor pitch decks, offering mentoring and pitch training, and facilitating live pitches to international publishers and investors.
Comprehensive Marketing Support for All Platforms
IndieCraft will also continue to provide targeted marketing support tailored to selected developers’ platforms—including mobile, PC, and console.
Support includes:
- Mobile reward-based marketing campaigns
- Steam platform promotional support
- Free software licenses for 3D game development tools
Top Titles to Be Showcased at GXG 2025
Selected developers will showcase their games at GXG 2025, a public indie game exhibition in Pangyo that drew over 30,000 visitors last year. Held at Pangyo Station Square and the Tech One Tower, GXG 2025 will also include a Top 3 Developer Awards Ceremony, creating a festival atmosphere for both creators and players.
