Eggtart (CEO Jinman Park) announced that its developed ‘Metal Suits: Counter Attack (from now on referred to as Metal Suits)’ will participate in the global online game showcase ‘The MIX Fall Showcase 2024’.
‘The MIX (Media Indie Exchange)’ is a game event created by indie game developers and enthusiasts. It intensively introduces carefully selected works from among hundreds of indie games applied from around the world. ‘METAL SUIT’ has been selected as an exhibition game for this event and will be showcased on November 21st at 9 AM (North American Standard Time).
‘Metal Suits’ is a 2D horizontal scrolling action game based on pixel art. It boasts retro pixel art and modern effects. It has received favorable reviews at global game events such as ‘Gamescom’, ‘Tokyo Game Show’, ‘Beat Summit’, ‘Busan Indie Connect Festival (BIC)’, ‘G-Star, Future Games Show’, etc. In June, Steam selected it as a recommended game at ‘Steam Next Fest’.
In addition, it has been recognized for its playability both domestically and internationally by winning the New Platform Award at the ‘2023 Banggu Seok Indie Game Show’, the Honorable Mention Award at the ‘2024 GYAAR Studio Indie Game Contest’, the Grand Prize at the ‘2024 Indie Craft’, the 1st place award at the ’19th Gyeonggi Game Audition’, and the Most Anticipated Game Award at the ‘G-Star 2024 Indie Awards’.
