The Daejeon Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency announced that it will operate a joint pavilion with the Daejeon Global Game Center to provide citizens with opportunities to enjoy games and expand business performance at the ‘2024 Daejeon Content Fair’ exhibition, which will be held at Daejeon DCC from November 22nd to 24th.
This joint pavilion is a space where six promising game companies, supported by the Promotion Agency through the Daejeon Global Game Center, can participate and experience game content from various platforms under the title ‘Game Jam City Daejeon (Bread in the Mouth, Games in the Hands!)’.
The games that can be experienced in the common hall are ▲’Run with the Dream Family’ (Paint Farm Co., Ltd.), ▲’Raising a Goat Summoner’ (Doomaru Co., Ltd.), ▲’Starship Battle Titan’ (Media Work Co., Ltd.), ▲’Sushi Battle Lambushersly’ (Visual Light Co., Ltd.), ▲’Cat Girl Survival’ (Minimum Studio Co., Ltd.), ▲’The Poacher of Katuba’ (Yoo Young-jo), etc.
In addition, the Daejeon Global Game Center will showcase its rich achievements through an exhibition of results such as the bread-themed game ‘Y0ung Bread’ developed at this year’s ‘inD Game Jam’ event and ‘Dokkaebi Silok’ selected as an excellent work at the educational program ‘inD Game School’.
The promotion agency plans to provide citizens visiting the exhibition with an opportunity to experience a variety of games developed by representative game companies in the region, ranging from mobile games to console games, PC games, and sensory games, and further show Daejeon as a leading game city leading the global game industry.
The Promotion Agency is working to spread game development culture, revitalize entrepreneurship, and foster startups by operating systematic programs such as the inD Game School, inD Game Jam, and Chungcheong Indie Game Contest centered around the Daejeon Global Game Center, a regional game industry fostering base.
Promotion Agency Director Lee Eun-hak said, “We will spare no effort in discovering excellent game companies in Daejeon and supporting the training of game personnel through opportunities to promote the Promotion Agency and game centers.”
