The game-specialized server SaaS backnd; announced on the 7th that it will participate in the B2B hall of ‘G-Star 2024’, which opens in Busan on the 14th. It will reveal news about the beta version of the new product ‘World’, which is scheduled to be released within the year.
The ‘World’ product is a service that provides infrastructure for multiple players to connect and move around in the field and a platform API that makes it easy to utilize. It is also called a ‘world game’, ‘open world element’, or ‘MMO technology’.
Through the ‘ World ‘ product, developers can quickly implement content such as ▲ Plaza, ▲ Boss Raid, ▲ Field PVP, ▲ MMORPG, etc. They can focus on game content development by escaping from complex server tasks. In particular, the following cumbersome tasks are all omitted when using the ‘World’ product: Network Engine, Database Handling, Scaling-OUT Architecture, Cloud Setting, Deploy, and Monitoring.
“For small teams, it will expand the limits of the content they can plan, and for medium and large teams, it will provide an opportunity to reduce development time and costs,” said a backend official.
“With the ‘World’ product, even teams of five or fewer can now develop MMO games,” said Kwon Oh-hyun, CEO of Duekut. “We hope that many developers worldwide who have had difficulty developing MMOs for various reasons will be able to realize the content and game development they have imagined through Duekut’s ‘World’ feature.”
Meanwhile, during G-Star 2024, the company will hold a demo demonstration of the ‘World’ product and an open beta participant recruitment event at the B2B Hall J-310 booth. Companies wishing to consult during the event can do so through the G-Star BizMatching site or by visiting the site.
