The Korea Indie Game Association announced that it will hold the Korea Game Developers Conference (KGDCon 2024), the largest of its kind in Korea, at KINTEX in Ilsan on August 29th and 30th.
The ‘KGDCon 2024’ event is planned as a convention in various forms such as expert lectures, exhibitions, and events to showcase the latest convergence content development and business cases in various industries jointly held with ‘2024 Content Universe Korea’, and the ‘Korea Indie Game Association’ will participate in the game content track starting this year.
Speakers for ‘KGDCon 2024’ will be professional lectures prepared by developers or game industry professionals who are actively working at home and abroad, including Hong Sung-min, CEO of CosmoUniverse and former CTO at Finland’s Metacore Games, Markus Vahtola, CMO of Finnish game company Fingersoft, Han Gyu-seon, PD of Krafton subsidiary Relu Games, Kim Seon-wook, Director of NVIDIA Game Taskrolage, and Kim Jae-ik (Gold Metal), Advocate of Unity Korea, who will cover various topics related to game development.
