The Korea Indie Game Association announced on the 16th that it is recruiting game development teams or developers to participate in KGDCon’s showcase booth and game jam.
KGDCon is a professional game conference for Korean game developers. It is being prepared as a venue to promote exchange and cooperation between game developers and share the latest game development trends and technologies. Along with this conference, separate side events, ‘KGDCon Showcase’ and ‘KGDCon Game Jam’ will be held offline from August 29 (Thursday) to 30 (Friday) in Hall 6 of KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2 in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do.
Applications for participation in the KGDCon showcase booth and ‘KGDCon Game Jam’ can be submitted through Indieple Forum, the official SNS community of the Korea Indie Game Association, from Monday, July 15 to Friday, July 26.
The showcase booth is an exhibition booth where games that are in service or have been developed can be displayed. The project can be explained and briefly demonstrated to game industry officials and general visitors. Participating teams will have a booth, game promotion, and opportunity to present on the showcase stage. This is provided. Additionally, the ‘KGDCon Game Jam event will be held in collaboration with the game developer platform ‘GemPy,’ and anyone interested in game development can apply to participate as a team or individual.
