Neowiz (co-representatives Kim Seung-Chul and Bae Tae-Geun) announced that the ‘BIGS: Banggusuk Indie Game Show (BIGS 2023)’, in which Korean indie game developers will participate, will open on the 10th.
The online indie game festival ‘BIGS 2023’, which celebrated its 4th anniversary this year, was prepared to support promoting indie game companies. It is co-hosted by Neowiz, Gyeonggi Content Agency, and Seoul Economic Promotion Agency and jointly organized by Neowiz and Megazone Cloud. Various companies such as Unity, Stove, One Store, Hive, Twitch, Inven, and Ruliweb participate as sponsors.
The event, which will be held for a week from the 10th to the 16th, will be held online. You can directly experience indie games of various and original genres through the official website and watch the game’s latest video. In particular, this BIGS 2023 recorded the highest number of participants ever, with 237 Korean game developers and 13 foreign indie games participating.
The ‘BIGS AWARD,’ which selects the best games among the participating games, will be held. KRW 100 million in support, including prize money and marketing, will be provided to the final excellent works selected through screening and voting. This is the largest ever and will be held offline in October.
