The Korea Game Industry Association (Chairman Shin-cheol Kang, K-GAMES) announced that it would support the ‘Game Production Presentation, a challenging youth game’ and hold the event with university students.
This event will be held at the 7th floor auditorium of Kin Tower in Jeongja-dong, Bundang-gu, from 10:00 on Saturday, September 3rd. The association supervises support projects such as rentals and lectures, and university students lead production presentations and experience events.
With the sponsorship, ‘Neowiz’, ‘NCsoft’, ‘Pearl Abyss’, and ‘KOG’ from game companies participated, and ‘Korea Creative Content Agency’, ‘Game Management Committee’, and ‘Game Culture Foundation’ from institutional groups participated to take on their challenges. cheering
Architecture, law, theater and film, etc., this game production presentation was held during the semester to present and experience 28 games produced by ‘young gamers’ from various majors, from majors that are not intuitively associated with game development to computer engineering. It is organized as a place to exchange each other’s characteristics, skills and experiences.
‘Young gamers’ are college students from various schools and various majors. These students voluntarily formed a club outside of school to study and develop game productions, and due to the nature of the group, they were not easily identified as targets of support from schools or institutions.
