Neowiz (Co-CEO Seung-cheol Kim, Tae-geun Bae) announced on the 9th that it had updated the item cataclysm system of ‘Skul’, a 2D action game developed by South Four Games (CEO Park Sang-woo).
In this update, the overall reorganization of the items used in ‘Skull’ has been made, and through this, changes have been made to the ‘abnormal status’ and ‘engraving’ system. First, the ‘status abnormality’, which was used to direct the battle of the skull, can now be applied to the boss as well as the effective attack power. Through this, you can experience a more exciting battle, and in the case of the skull that mainly uses status abnormalities, the related skills have also been changed.
There was also a change in the ‘Imprint’ that had an effect on the Skull’s ability. 33 new engravings such as ‘mana cycle’, ‘treasure’ and ‘absolute zero’ have been added, and the effect of the engraving appears in 2-3 units, while the number of engravings that can exert the maximum effect has been lowered to 2-6. The difficulty of composing the engraving is lowered, so you can enjoy the game by using more diverse item combinations.
At the same time, the UI (user environment) reorganization was also carried out. In the case of an effective engraving, it is displayed in a separate color so that gamers can easily understand the state of the skull. In addition, a ‘character information window’ has been added, where you can check the character’s various abilities, such as physical strength and attack speed.
In addition, 67 new items such as ‘Glacier Destroyer’ and ‘Brilliant Dawn’ have been added, allowing you to lead the battle with more diverse strategies.
