- An occult puzzle adventure inspired by Korean culture and folktales
- Chapter 4 Update: New Branch Manager Inauguration and the Past of Haru and Geumeum
- Released on September 30 at 6 PM… A total of 5 chapters playable, including the demo.
Korean indie game development team TEAM DADA will release Chapter 4 , “Fragmentation and Linking Energy,” of the occult fantasy puzzle adventure “Ghost Deliverer” on September 30 at 6 PM. The game is currently available in Early Access on Steam and Stove. With this update, a total of five chapters, including the demo chapter, will be playable.
‘The National Association of Exorcists’ is a top-down pixel graphic game inspired by RPG Maker horror games. It tells the story of Hyeseong, a girl with psychic abilities, who joins the exorcism organization ‘The National Association of Exorcists’ to uncover the truth behind her mother’s death and grows as a person.
Chapter 4 covers the inauguration of the new branch manager and the past of Haru and Geumeum.
Chapter 4, ‘The Acting of the Form,’ features the inauguration ceremony of the new branch leaders of the National Association of Exorcists as the main setting. Branch leaders representing each branch gather in one place for the ceremony, and they are set to appear in large numbers as charming new characters, breathing vitality into the story.
In particular, this story fully unveils the past histories of Haru and Geumeum, the key characters of the work. As the hidden narratives of the two, which have remained undisclosed until now, unfold, it is expected to further heighten user immersion.

New challenges are also added in terms of content. Not only does a new evil spirit with a deep backstory involving the Association appear, but ‘Yokai’ are newly added to the existing ghost-centered threats, doubling the combat and tension.
In addition, you can encounter new, unique puzzles set in various spaces within the organization, including the interior of the association building, the Yokai Management Department, and the Yokai Response Department.
This update will be available in Korean first . Multilingual support for global users, including English, Japanese, and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), will be added sequentially through future patches.

Puzzles and ghost chases inspired by traditional Korean culture
The game’s puzzles drew inspiration from everyday objects, Korean culture, and traditional fairy tales. The developers explained that by structuring them in an intuitive manner, similar to spot-the-difference games or riddles, even users unfamiliar with Korean culture can solve them without difficulty.
The player investigates various areas while avoiding minor spirits roaming the map and the evil spirits that serve as the bosses for each chapter. Incense acts as a medium that attracts these spirits, so players can defeat the spirits hindering their investigation by extinguishing the incense placed on the map.
The relics of evil spirits are imbued with resentment and lingering attachments. Inside a barrier, the player understands the spirits’ backstories and wishes, then burns the relics to aid their ascension. In essence, the main progression of the game involves learning their stories and saving them, rather than fighting the spirits directly.
Korean-style occult drawn with top-down pixel graphics
‘The National Association of Exorcists’ was developed using the Unity 2D engine. It expresses a Korean occult atmosphere by combining top-down pixel graphics with character standing images and illustrations. The developer has not disclosed specific details regarding the sound. However, Steam user reviews include positive comments regarding the background music and sound effects.
The National Exorcist Association in the game is a secret organization of spiritualists who protect people from ghosts. The Steam description foreshadows a story in which the protagonist, Hye-seong, becomes entangled with an evil organization called the ‘Jowolhoe’.
From webtoons to crowdfunding and early access
Team Dada has been carrying out the development process, which started as a webtoon and led to a game, over the course of about four years. They conducted a Tumblbug crowdfunding campaign from August 8 to September 22, 2025, and released an Early Access version containing the demo chapter and chapters 1 and 2 on Steam and Stove on December 19 of the same year.
Subsequently, Chapter 3, ‘Love on Ice and Coal,’ was released, and now Chapter 4 is being added. According to developer materials, the official version will include a total of six chapters and sub-quests, and overall quality improvements are also planned.
As of the time of viewing, 96% of the 28 Steam user reviews have been positive, resulting in a ‘positive’ rating on Steam. The current estimated playtime is approximately 10 hours, which is expected to increase to about 12 hours after the official launch. The official release is anticipated for the first quarter of 2027.
