Korean Game Companies Sign MOU at G-STAR to Boost Global Expansion of K-Games

    By Editorial Team2025년 11월 14일Updated:2025년 11월 15일3 Mins Read

    – Changjo Gongjakso, Latis Global Communications, Morisawa Korea, DovRunner, and CFK join forces to build an integrated cooperation system spanning development to global publishing

Some of Korea’s leading game service specialists have joined hands to strengthen the global competitiveness of K-games.
Changjo Gongjakso, Latis Global Communications, Morisawa Korea, DovRunner, and CFK signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at G-STAR 2025, held at BEXCO in Busan, establishing a cooperative framework to systematically support Korean game developers’ overseas expansion.

The agreement aims to create a one-stop collaboration model that connects game development to global distribution by combining expertise in sound, localization, fonts, security, and publishing—all core elements of game development and live service. The five companies plan to share their respective technologies and know-how and introduce AI-based production and operation solutions, continuously promoting joint projects to enhance the global competitiveness of K-games and expand their presence in overseas markets.

Each company will leverage its strengths in its area of specialization, taking on complementary roles.

    • Changjo Gongjakso will be responsible for sound design and music production for a wide range of content, including games, animation, and video. The company has recently adopted AI-driven automatic mixing and audio analysis technologies to further enhance sound quality and has proven the competitiveness of Korean-style sound creativity through numerous global projects.
    • Latis Global Communications supports multilingual localization (L10n), QA, and comprehensive global operations services. By providing end-to-end support—from translation and culturalization to operations management—for Korean developers preparing to go overseas, it helps lower barriers to entry. With more than 20 years of experience, Latis ensures high-quality global service and is recognized for its market-specific strategies and high polish.
    • Morisawa Korea offers multilingual font solutions and global typography expertise, providing fonts optimized for each language to enhance game quality and brand consistency. Building on the technology of Japan’s Morisawa Group, it supports a global font environment usable not only in Asia but also in North America and Europe, and collaborates with a wide range of domestic and international developers.
    • DovRunner is a mobile security service that protects more than 1,000 apps worldwide, strengthening the stability of game services and global security systems for developers. Based on security data and expertise accumulated through work with major global companies such as Devsisters, Krafton, and WINJOY Games, DovRunner is advancing its capabilities in real-time threat detection and response.
    • CFK, a console and package game publisher, will work on local distribution and marketing strategies to help outstanding Korean IP successfully launch and operate on overseas console platforms. Leveraging years of console publishing experience and a robust global network, CFK contributes to expanding the global reach of Korean game content.

Shin So-heon, CEO of Changjo Gongjakso, commented,

“This agreement is highly meaningful as a private-sector cooperation model that combines each company’s expertise and technological capabilities to enhance the global competitiveness of K-games. By bringing together strengths across sound, localization, fonts, security, and publishing, we will work together to help Korean developers achieve greater success in the global market.”
