Global Game Exhibition “G-STAR 2025” to Be Held in Busan, November 13–16

    By Editorial Team2025년 11월 12일Updated:2025년 11월 15일3 Mins Read

◈ To be held November 13–16 at BEXCO in Busan… 3,269 booths and 1,273 game-related companies from 44 countries participating
◈ Game exhibition, business meetings, global game conference (G-CON), indie game showcase, “G-STAR Cup 2025,” and more

The city of Busan (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that Korea’s largest game exhibition, “G-STAR 2025”, will be held for four days from November 13 to 16 at BEXCO and surrounding venues.

This year’s event is an international game exhibition where global game industry professionals and fans come together to experience new titles and share the latest trends in the games industry. It is hosted by the Korea Association of Game Industry (Chairman Cho Young-kee) and organized by the G-STAR Organizing Committee and the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency.

Under the slogan “Expand Your Horizons,” this year’s G-STAR has significantly expanded participation not only from major Korean game companies but also from large overseas publishers and domestic and international indie game developers.

    The event program includes:

    • Game exhibition
    • Business matchmaking sessions
    • Global game conference “G-CON”
    • Indie game showcase “G-STAR Indie Showcase”
    • G-STAR Cup 2025
    • G-STAR Game Cosplay Awards

For the first time, NCSoft joins G-STAR as the main sponsor, setting up a large-scale exhibition and hands-on area in Exhibition Hall 1 at BEXCO. In addition, Blizzard Entertainment returns to G-STAR for the first time in 12 years, alongside global companies such as:

    • SEGA / ATLUS
    • Bandai Namco Entertainment
    • Warhorse Studios, and others.

This year’s exhibition features 1,273 game-related companies from 44 countries, filling 3,269 booths in total.

In Exhibition Hall 1, major companies such as NCSoft, Netmarble, Krafton, Google Korea, Webzen, and Gravity will be showcasing their titles.
Exhibition Hall 2 will host booths for large overseas game companies as well as “G-STAR Indie Showcase 2.0: Galaxy”, featuring a record 80 indie game developers, along with the special stage for G-STAR TV.

A wide range of side events is also planned, including:

    • Global game conference “G-CON”
    • “G-STAR Cup 2025” esports event
    • Game cosplay awards ceremony

    Busan Mayor Park Heong-joon commented:

“G-STAR has grown beyond Korea’s representative game festival to become a global industrial platform that connects Korea with the world. We will mobilize all available resources of the city to ensure that visitors from the domestic and global games industry, as well as local citizens coming to Busan for G-STAR, can participate and enjoy the event safely.”

The city and the Korea Association of Game Industry are working closely with related organizations including the police and fire authorities to ensure a safe event operation. To ease crowd congestion, entry will be divided into two time slots:

    • Part 1: 10:00 a.m.
    • Part 2: 12:00 p.m. (noon)

All tickets will be sold in advance online only, with no on-site ticket sales.

Advance online reservations can be made via the official website (gstar.or.kr) at 18,000 KRW for adults and 8,000 KRW for youths. Further details are available on the official website as well as through G-STAR’s official social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and blog.
