Neowiz announced on the 4th that it has officially launched the mobile version of the 2D action game ‘Skul’ developed by Southpaw Games globally.
‘Skul’ is a 2D roguelike action platformer game where you explore a dungeon by changing the skeleton head of the main character, Littlebone. This mobile version embodies Skul’s worldview and characters in a mobile environment. The fun elements of Skul enjoyed on PC and console, such as the side-scrolling action of defeating enemies, have been optimized for mobile use to improve perfection.
The mobile version of Skul will be simultaneously released in 175 countries worldwide, including Korea, Japan, and the United States. It can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. To commemorate the launch, the mobile version will be sold at a 10% discount until the 11th.
Meanwhile, ‘Skul’ released console versions such as Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox following the global PC platform Steam launch in 2021. It received a positive response for its exciting action and strategic play, becoming the first Korean indie game to surpass 1 million copies in cumulative sales within one year of its release. Currently, cumulative sales exceed 2 million copies.
