Google Play announced on the 12th that it has completed the selection of developers to participate in the ‘2024 Indie Games Accelerator (IGA)’ program.
This year’s IGA, implemented on the most enormous scale ever, includes 60 companies worldwide and eight from Korea alone, making it the second largest after the United States, where nine developers participate.
Google Play’s IGA program provides online education, mentorship, and coaching from industry experts to support the growth of potential indie game developers and small game studios worldwide.
Over the next ten weeks, the 60 indie game developers selected this year will receive training on Google products such as AI and cloud and the opportunity to network with global mentors who can receive know-how for success in the game industry.
The eight domestic developers selected for the IGA program include ▲Black Hammer, ▲Liberal Dust, ▲Gonggam Orae Contents, ▲Lunalight Studio, ▲Ondot, ▲Quesera Games, ▲Studio Boxcat, and ▲Huyaho.
