Gravity Game Arise (GGA), the Japanese branch of Gravity, announced that it had signed a global publishing contract with indie game developer Aquatic Moon for the Metroidvania game ‘Twilight Monk’.
With this publishing contract, Gravity Game Arise plans to strategically develop a business collaboration with Aquatic Moon for the successful global launch and service of ‘Twilight Monk.’
Twilight Monk is a title discovered by Gravity Game Arise as a global project to discover and spread indie games, ‘Gravity Indie Games.’ A kung fu fantasy media mix works with a grand story development in a fantasy world background, an overwhelming worldview, and unique characters.
Characters and dungeons full of personality are expressed in 2D graphics so that you can enjoy the game more easily without complicated manipulations, and the charm of the original work is maintained with a grand story and vast worldview. The main content, the dungeon, has added elements such as an open world, combo system, and puzzles to enhance further the fun of attacking.
In places other than dungeons, you can explore the town from a third-person perspective, replenish equipment, and discover new hidden dungeons. Twilight Monk will be released on multiple platforms like Steam and Nintendo Switch worldwide.
Hiroshi Goto, general director of Gravity Game Arise, said, “Twilight Monk is a Metroidvania genre game that maximizes the characters’ grand story, worldview, and action. We are developing with Aquatic Moon so that you can enjoy a variety of fun by applying various game systems and contents to a game based on 2D graphics that can feel simple.”
