Indie game developer Cosdots (CEOs Hoe-min Kim, Jae-ryeong Jeong) announced that they had officially released the Joseon fantasy mystery game ‘Cheongjang Yadam: Paldogyunmunrok’ on the Apple App Store on June 30th.
‘Cheongjang Yadam: Paldo Gyeonmunrok’ is a mystery story game designed and developed by Kosdots, a game developer specializing in Korean history.
The game features a fictional 16th-century Joseon background, depicting various bizarre incidents experienced by detective Jeong Dosa and an elite military officer, Military Officer Jo, while traveling in the eighth province of Joseon.
From the perspective of Dosa Jeong and Military Officer Cho, the gamer must play a total of four mystery episodes inspired by the traditional tales of Joseon to obtain clues, combine the deductions to uncover the background of the incident, and defeat the monster.
Kim Hoe-min, CEO of Kosdots, said, “Cheongjang Yadam: Paldo Gyeonmunrok is a game like never before that combines traditional Korean folktales, monsters, and mystery.”
On the other hand, ‘Jeonggeum Yadam: Paldo Gyeonmunrok’ was officially released on the Google Play Store on May 31, and the game download is possible through the mobile store page ( Android , iOS ).
