Kind refers to a virtual race that appears in the game. They have various appearances and abilities that are different from humans, and they are people who live together with humans in human society.

As the protagonists of the game, we borrow the abilities of those who are full of personality to help us with our adventures, and sometimes we are hindered by others.

2. Exploration

In the game, there is a region called Handong in a location similar to that of Gyeonggi-do in Korea. Handong is a place with varying degrees of urbanization, just like the areas near Seoul in the 1990s and 2000s. In this area, which looks like a city to the north and a farm village to the south, unlike the real place, a race called Kind lives with humans.

When the game begins, the main character comes to see his grandmother in the southernmost village of Handong on the occasion of the anniversary of the opening of the school.

‘Project Kind’ started in January 2019. This project, which wanted to leave a tribute to the times that raised us and the various creations of the 90’s and 00’s, when developers were growing up, started as an animation, but someone who wanted to leave a story about the experience as an experience The idea of the game changed its delivery method.

Although the game development started in earnest by recruiting programmer members, animations and games showed a clear difference in the way of delivering fun and its grammar. We have grown into a team that can develop games, not the video media we were familiar with, through mentoring and networking by supporting Smilegate membership and creative talent companion projects.
