Neowiz (Co-CEO Seung-cheol Kim, Tae-geun Bae) announced on the 21st that it had officially released the Nintendo Switch version of the 2D action-platformer game ‘Gak of Death’ developed by the indie developer Rutles Studio (CEO Park Hyun-jae) on the 21st.
Based on the traditional Korean folktale, ‘The Tale of Princess Bari’, ‘Death of Death’ tells the story of a daughter who has doubts about her father’s death and enters the underworld to find out the truth and find her father. It is characterized by using Korean materials and only three colors, white, red, and black, to revive oriental colors.
The Nintendo Switch version of ‘Gak of Death’ has been optimized for the console environment. As with the PC version, you can enjoy all the content, including 9 chapters, 14 types of bosses, and 7 types of hidden bosses. You can also check out monsters made based on Korean folktales, such as the rook gaksi and the bean sprouts, including 7 types of unique weapons. In particular, a total of three versions of the ending have been prepared depending on the play style.
The Nintendo Switch version of ‘Gak of Death’ will be sold at KRW 21,000, and a 20% discount event will be held for two weeks. Supported languages are Korean, English, Japanese, etc. 8 languages, and a hard package with a unique poster will also be released in June.
