- Announcement of Free Steam Demo Release for the First Work of a 4-Person Brazilian Indie Team
- Combining classic JRPG-style turn-based combat with strategic party building and a bonding system
Brazilian publisher Nuntius Games announced that it has added the dark fantasy turn-based RPG ‘Succubi Domini’ to its publishing lineup.
“Succubi Domini,” a new game currently under development by the Brazilian indie studio Team Succubi, is characterized by combining strategic party composition and black comedy elements (dark humor) based on the turn-based combat of classic JRPGs.
The game stands out for establishing its own unique identity through a distinctive art direction that blends Gothic style with streetwear fashion. It is currently preparing for a Steam release on PC, and a free demo is scheduled to be released prior to the official launch.
A turn-based combat system where individuality and strategy intertwine
‘Succubus Domini’ adds a unique system based on turn-based combat inspired by classic JRPGs.
Players can recruit various succubi as party members during their journey, and each character possesses different stats, personalities, and combat styles. In particular, it is also possible to persuade succubi that appear as enemies during combat to join as companions.
The ‘Infernal Bond’ system, which develops relationships with characters, has also been introduced. As the relationship deepens, exclusive skills, party-wide buffs, and additional story content are unlocked, requiring strategic choices not only in combat but also in character development.
The journey of young Arius, freed from a life of oppression
The story unfolds centering on Arius, a young man who has lived for a long time under oppression and conformity.
Arius’s life takes an unexpected turn when his faction, while serving in the military, is attacked by a pack of succubi. As he sets out to find a missing childhood friend, the story expands beyond mere survival into a journey to find identity, courage, and freedom.
A 4-person Brazilian startup studio inspired by otaku culture
The Brazilian four-member indie studio ‘Team Succubi’ pursues creative and unconventional games inspired by otaku culture. Their flagship title, ‘Succubi Domini,’ is a masterpiece that has been refined through close communication with users on the indie platform itch.io.
Furthermore, this publishing agreement marks Team Succubi’s first collaboration with an external partner. Brazilian publisher Nuntius Games will provide comprehensive support for the game’s launch, including localization, marketing, and QA.
Team Succubi is expanding its engagement with users, including recently participating in a local comic market in Brazil to showcase a playable demo.
Not yet released, explicitly states that it contains adult-only content
‘Succubus Domini’, which is set for official release on Steam, features an adult content notice on its store page due to explicit clothing depictions, sexual humor, and intermittent violence.
The developer stated, “While scenes of violence do not appear frequently, some scenes may be depicted in a stylized, cartoon-style manner and may be somewhat graphic.” The title’s official release date and pricing information will be announced at a later date.
Both Nuntius Games and Team Succubi have stated that this collaboration marks the first step and that they plan to share further updates over the next few months. As a free demo is in preparation, keeping an eye on the game’s progress via the Steam Wishlist is expected to be a good strategy.
