Smilegate announced on Monday, the 6th, that it is recruiting the 3rd generation of ‘STOVE Crew,’ the official supporters of its game platform STOVE.
‘STOVE Crew’ is a marketing support group that plays games available on the STOVE platform and creates reviews and social media content. It is characterized by the ability to receive feedback from current employees during the process, allowing for indirect experience of the game industry and marketing, as well as the development of practical skills through communication among crew members.
For the third cohort, every aspect—including eligibility, activity period, and benefits—has been expanded compared to the previous second cohort. The biggest change is the eligibility criteria. Previously, only active university students, including those currently enrolled or on leave of absence, could apply, but starting with the third cohort, anyone in their 20s who dreams of becoming a content creator can participate. Additionally, participants from the first and second cohorts can reapply.
The duration and scope of the activities have also expanded. Previously, the program ran for three months with reviews focused on indie games, but the third season will run for seven months, from this coming June to December. The scope of the missions has also expanded beyond indie games to include major titles and new releases on the Stove platform, such as Road9, Kazena, and Epic Seven.
Benefits have also been enhanced. The number of internship opportunities offered to the top performers has been increased to two, and the prize money has also been raised. During the activity period, all crew members are provided with a monthly activity allowance and coupons, while outstanding performers receive additional benefits. Upon completion of the activity, certificates and prizes will be awarded at an official closing ceremony.
Recruitment will continue until 10:00 AM on the 15th (Wed) of this month, and you can apply through the Smilegate recruitment page (job application system).
Yang Seong-yeol, Head of the Platform Business Division, said, “The 3rd generation of Stove Crew has been further strengthened in terms of eligibility, scope of activities, and benefits,” adding, “We hope for many applications from those who want to develop their content creation capabilities while exploring Stove’s wide game lineup for seven months.”
