Smilegate announced that it will hold the ‘2025 Stove Indie Awards’, an indie game awards ceremony, through the global game platform Stove.
The Stove Indie Awards is an awards ceremony that highlights indie game works that have been loved by users throughout the year and have created value for the platform. It has the character of a festival that creators and users can enjoy together.
A total of 21 nominees were selected, and fierce competition is expected.

In addition, ▲Yog Sothoth’s Garden ▲Gundog – A Tale of the Solar System ▲Hospital x Life ▲The Witch’s Garden ▲Flower Dungeon ▲Hayo and the General Store ▲Who’s at the Door ▲Alleyway: Ghost Trace ▲Lonely Broadcast ▲Gwigwisaljeon ▲Doom’s Hair Salon were nominated.
The winners will be selected based on Stove Indie’s internal review and user participation.
Users directly select the winners
Users can directly select the winners through voting. The “Heart-Pounding Subculture” award is given to games that create compelling worldviews and immersive narratives. ▲The ‘Best Localizer’ who provided users with greater immersion and enjoyment through Koreanization. ▲The ‘Best Alliance’ award is given to games that have grown and launched through close communication with users, starting with the Indie Boost Lab. ▲A total of four categories, including the “Creator Spotlight” for games that have garnered significant attention and buzz from streamers and reviewers, will be selected entirely through user voting. The Frontier and Stove Ambassador categories will be selected through Stove’s internal review process.
Various promotions to commemorate the awards
To celebrate the awards, Stove is offering various promotions until the 25th. Each of the 21 2025 nominees will receive a dedicated 15% discount coupon. Additionally, a 10% discount coupon, valid for all games in the Stove Store, will be distributed daily.
Stove announced that it has strengthened discounts and participatory events for this year’s awards so that more users can experience the nominees and winners.
