NeoWiz and WonderPotion Return with SANABI Spin-Off
NeoWiz announced that WonderPotion, the developer of the acclaimed cyberpunk action platformer SANABI, will unveil its new spin-off title “SANABI: Ghost Possession Day” at G-STAR 2025, held from November 13–16 at BEXCO, Busan.
Currently in development, the new entry focuses on Major Song, a fan-favorite character from the original SANABI, as he investigates a mysterious incident in a robotic scrapyard. Building on the unique “Joseon Cyberpunk” aesthetic, dynamic chain-action gameplay, and emotional storytelling of the original, the spin-off has already generated strong anticipation among players.
Dedicated Booth and Player Events at G-STAR
NeoWiz will host a standalone “SANABI: Ghost Possession Day” booth in the G-STAR BTC Hall (for general attendees). Visitors will be able to play a hands-on demo and experience the game ahead of release.
Attendees who participate in the demo will receive exclusive event items, including official badges and photocard collectibles, as part of a certification and coupon event. Additional prizes — such as MSI gaming monitors — will be given away through on-site raffles and promotions.
International Premiere in Japan Ahead of G-STAR
Before its Korean showcase, SANABI: Ghost Possession Day will make its international debut at Tokyo Game Dungeon 10 on November 9 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center. The event will feature live demos and gameplay sessions, offering Japanese gamers their first look at the title and giving the development team valuable early feedback from global audiences.
A Promising Expansion of the SANABI Universe
With SANABI: Ghost Possession Day, WonderPotion aims to expand the SANABI universe through deeper narrative exploration and refined combat systems — further solidifying its place as one of Korea’s standout indie developers.
Fans can experience the new game firsthand at G-STAR 2025, where NeoWiz and WonderPotion will share more about the project’s development progress and future release plans.
